My name is Colin Threlfall and I live on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. This website is to show you my landscape photography.
Have a look at some of my favorite photos, taken by me on the Isle of Skye and the NW Highlands of Scotland.
My main interest is in walking and climbing in the Cuillin mountains. They are a wild and rugged wilderness and often it is cloudy and wet. When the weather is kind however, it is a great place to be with tremendous views and great light. There are places to explore here off the beaten track, hidden corries, wild rivers and long ridges. I have a few 'secret' projects in mind so keep checking back or subscribe to my blog for updates.
Many of my photographs are of well known landmarks on the Isle of Skye like Kilt Rock, Cuillin from Elgol and Neist Point. Some will be less well known but capture the special light at a given moment in time.
I have a Canon Eos 5D II, and 2 lenses - 16-35mm and 24-105mm.
